 Dr. Richard H. Drumm established the Drumm Veterinary Hospital in East Greenbush in 1956. He began as a solo practitioner and grew to focus exclusively on small animals. In 1979, Dr. Drumm brought the Troy Veterinary Hospital into the practice, and the Latham Animal Hospital joined the group in 1984. The staff includes 10 full-time and 5 part-time veterinarians, 9 licensed veterinary technicians, and 35 full and part-time members of our pet care team. The three practices operate independently but cooperatively. Our combined staff brings a wealth of knowledge, caring, and expertise to the field of veterinary medicine. Our staff is highly committed to ongoing and continuing education through conferences, specialty training, seminars, and mentoring. Our goal is to provide the highest quality medical care to our patients and outstanding service to our clients. We are friends to animals and the people who love them. |
