Dr. Vicky Rafter Maryann Joseph, LVT Maureen Beatty Amy Jarvis-Murray Dr. Vicky Rafter part time Associate Veterinarian. Dr. Rafter has worked in all three practices over her long affiliation with us, and she is a graduate of Cornell. She lives on a farm with her husband, Gene, sixteen Shire horses that they enjoy breeding and showing, forty beef cattle, two teams of oxen, five chickens, one goose, four Golden Retrievers, three cats, and one canary. She has two daughters, Cristy, a licensed veterinary technician, and Erin, a horsewoman with a master's degree in agricultural education. In her free time (?), Dr. Rafter enjoys reading and gardening. She notes "After practicing over thirty years, I still love the work, the clients, and most especially my patients." 
Maryann Joseph, LVT veterinary technician. Maryann is a graduate of SUNY Canton, and she has been with us for ten years. She has two cats, and Maryann loves camping, fishing, and all types of outdoor fun. Maureen Beatty works in the kennel and assists the veterinarians in Latham. She hopes to become a veterinary technician in the future. She loves all types of animals, and she has a German Shepard and two cats. Amy Jarvis-Murray has been working in the veterinary field for five years, and she is now studying to be a veterinary technician. She has two cats and one dog, and she enjoys canine obedience training and outdoor activities.
