 ...back Laboratory Services Our practices offer your pets a range of laboratory services to ensure their health. Each hospital is able to provide immediate fecal analysis, basic blood profiles and annual screening for canine and feline heartworm, canine parvovirus, Lyme, Erlichia, Feline Leukemia, blood glucose, and PCV/TP, cytology, and urinalysis. Our trained technicians can run these tests quickly while you and your pet are at your appointment. Our Latham office is equipped with a state of the art IDEXX blood chemistry and CBC analyzer that we utilize when we need immediate results and on weekends. Full blood chemistry profiles are done with next day service through Antech, a local laboratory. Some specialized laboratory testing such as tissue biopsy requires the use of veterinary referral laboratories such as those available at Cornell, Tufts, or Michigan State University. |
